Why K.O.Y.A. Matters
Keep Our Youth Alive (K.O.Y.A.) is a Special Initiative of the Alpha Educational & Leadership Foundation, Inc. The statistics are devastating, and the patterns are too loud to ignore. Across our state and nation, young Black boys and men are disproportionately vulnerable to street violence, severe mental-health crises, missing-person disparities, and suspicious, unresolved fatalities.
We refuse to remain passive bystanders. We refuse to mourn another brilliant future.

ARA
Alpha Rise Academy · Grades 3–5
Foundational academic and character formation for our youngest scholars stepping into young leadership in schools, on the playing field, and on the playground. Emphasizes public speaking, conflict resolution, and navigating youth stress and friendships. (Est. 2022)
ALPHA
Alpha Leadership Program for Higher Achievement · Grades 6–8
Our long-standing academy focused on communication, decision-making, and analytical skill development for middle school young men. Includes public speaking and conflict resolution. (Est. 1985)
AMA
Alpha Millennium Academy · Grades 9–12
The flagship development pathway for high school young men preparing for college, career, and community leadership. Includes public speaking and communication, academic advising, and college readiness. (Est. 1999)
